CMPA Equity Scholarship

The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). We recognize the systemic barriers, inequities, and socioeconomic challenges that medical conference participants who are underrepresented may face.

As such, we are taking steps to help increase the ability of individuals from equity-deserving groups to contribute their research and knowledge to the healthcare field.

To this aim, CMPA has introduced an Equity Scholarship to assist physicians and physician trainees that self-identify as Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) or racialized participants to attend the 2024 Family Medicine Forum (FMF).

About the CMPA Equity Scholarship

CMPA will provide a total of three (3) equity scholarships to attend the 2024 Family Medicine Forum (FMF) in Vancouver, BC from November 6-9, 2024.

The scholarship will cover individual registration fees (any category) only. Additional costs, such as travel, accommodations, meals, incidentals, etc., are not covered by the scholarship.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with your members and encourage qualified applicants to apply.
