The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is an integral part of the Canadian healthcare system. Our roles are: to assist Canadian doctors with medico-legal matters related to their practice; on behalf of our members, to compensate patients injured as a result of negligent medical care (fault in Québec); and to advance patient safety.
